An integral aspect of product development, hardware design refers to the process of creating and developing electronic components and systems that make up physical devices. This involves designing and specifying the functionality, architecture and physical characteristics of a variety of physical components, like printed circuits boards (PCBs), integrated circuits (ICs), processors, sensors, memory modules and other electronic elements.

Layout & Routing​

With so many different routing tools, our engineering don't rely on auto-routing, instead we follow some best practices we have learnt over year like routing high-speed signals over solid ground plane, placing vias in grid, using 135-deg trace bend, reducing noise by separating analogue and check ground-&-power planes.​

Fabrication & BoM


Our engineering teams utilize Design-For-Assembly and Design-For-Manufacturing analysis to improve quality and save cost. Keep Bill-of-Material up to date at each stage of design. Make sure capacitors are facing in same direction. Ensure footprint and physical dimensions are aligned.  We do peer review of component placement for signal interference e,g. RF, motor control, filter circuits. Ensure clear distance of component-to-component and part-to-copper placements.

Tools and Integration


It is important to use of 3D visualization to collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams. We use of lightweight representations of design to share data across multiple geo-locations. We recommend tool generated checklist to address design issue.
