Engineering Challenge

An infrastructure-class control product required a complete electronics, firmware and mechanical design capable of being manufactured and deployed reliably in real operating environments.

ATRI's Role

ATRI provided electronics design, embedded firmware development, mechanical and enclosure engineering, DFM review, and manufacturing support.

Engineering Approach

ATRI designed the control electronics and developed the embedded firmware governing the product's control logic.

ATRI engineered the mechanical enclosure and physical integration of the electronics into the product.

ATRI carried out a design-for-manufacturing review and provided manufacturing support to bring the product into production.

Real-World Considerations

Field environmental conditions, installation and serviceability, and manufacturing scale-up were addressed as part of the design, not as afterthoughts once the product reached production.
