Agency-as-a-Service enables ATRI to take broader responsibility across engineering and the product lifecycle — with commercial terms that can align our participation with the outcomes we help create.
Beyond executing the scope. Taking responsibility for more of the execution.
In a conventional engineering engagement, responsibility is typically defined by a scope of work, requirement or deliverable. Agency-as-a-Service expands ATRI’s responsibility across the engineering and product lifecycle activities required to achieve the agreed product outcome.
ATRI can take responsibility across multiple engineering and lifecycle functions rather than limiting its role to an isolated deliverable.
Commercial terms can include an outcome-linked component, creating stronger alignment between the value ATRI helps create and how ATRI participates.
3AS expands ATRI’s responsibility across engineering and the product lifecycle. The customer continues to own commercialization and the business.
The actual responsibilities depend on the product and the agreed engagement — ATRI does not necessarily perform every listed function in every 3AS engagement.
A product challenge can begin in engineering and later involve reliability, compliance, manufacturing, software, supply chain or support. Under 3AS, ATRI can bring together the capabilities required across the product lifecycle as those needs emerge.
Not every 3AS engagement uses all four capability families or all nine Centers of Excellence — ATRI assembles what the particular product or problem requires.
3AS commercial terms can combine conventional compensation for ATRI’s work with a component linked to the outcome ATRI helps create. The specific structure depends on the opportunity, responsibilities and relationship.
Outcome-linked participation does not transfer responsibility for commercialization to ATRI. The customer remains responsible for bringing the product to market and operating the business.
Agency-as-a-Service is designed for selected opportunities where broader ATRI responsibility can materially influence the product outcome and where both organizations benefit from deeper alignment.
A product opportunity exists, but the organization needs broader engineering and lifecycle capability to execute it.
Technology exists, but significant work remains to make the product reliable, compliant, manufacturable, deployable and supportable.
A product problem spans multiple areas such as engineering, reliability, manufacturing, software, supply chain or customer support.
The product requires continuing engineering and lifecycle responsibility rather than a sequence of isolated projects.
SOLVE, BUILD and SCALE describe ways customers engage ATRI for engineering work. Agency-as-a-Service changes the depth of responsibility and alignment ATRI can take across the relationship.
3AS can deepen responsibility and alignment where appropriate.
